The  Volunteer Services Coordinator, Captain Michael Humphrey, is responsible for  all volunteers at S.C.D.C.  All  volunteers must complete a volunteer application and submit it to the  administrative office during normal business hours with a copy of their  driver’s license.   Volunteer  applications shall be subject to reviewed and approved or disapproved within 30  days.  Volunteer applicants shall be  subject to an initial, and subsequent, background checks.  If approved, volunteers will be required to  complete mandatory training and issued a S.C.D.C. identity badge.   
      Volunteer  opportunities include jail ministry, mentoring and facilitation of A.A. or  N.A., or educational instructors.

      If you are interested in  volunteering, you may pick-up in the administrative office during normal  business hours or download an application.   Complete the application and return with other required documentation to  the administrative office during normal business hours.  
      Individuals  previously incarcerated at S.C.D.C. must wait a minimum of one year from their  last date of release, before applying as a volunteer. |
